About Us

Our Story
After being around the fatherless children in Uganda for years, Ms. Emie Nabbosa dreamt of starting a foundation that would support and empower these children through creating sustainable solutions that would help preserve their families (families of widows and single mothers) but for a while this remained a dream until she meet beautiful people who grew up fatherless and had the same dream of starting a foundation. This further fueled her passion to reach out and help these children and in 2014 The Fatherless Children’s Foundation Uganda (TFCFU) was born. “Embracing the fatherless children is at the heart of who I am”, Ms. Emie Nabbosa says. To this day Emie and her team work tirelessly to decrease the plight of the fatherless children in Uganda. Through TFCFU, the team strives to provide the fatherless children in Uganda the same opportunities of education, health care, offering guidance, mentorship and supportive programs designed mainly to help preserve the families of these children (widows and single mothers)

Share Your Love With A Child In Need
When considering poverty in the developing world, many people feel deep sorrow but conclude that there is nothing we can do. The scale of poverty is immense and we seem powerless to stop it. Such despair is understandable, but the facts tell a very different story. While poverty is indeed extreme and widespread, it is easy to forget just how many people there are in the developed world, and how powerful our pocket change can become when pooled together. When giving to an effective charity, the size of your donation directly correlates with the number of people you are able to help. But you don't have to be a millionaire to make a significant difference; even small donations have the potential to drastically improve an individual's quality of life.
